At least one person was hurt in a shooting on 28th Street SW in Lehigh Acres, officials said.
Early Monday morning crime scene tape was blocking off a street, trash in the road, and evidence markers in the area.
The injuries suffered in the shooting were not life-threatening, deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies do have a person of interest in the shooting and believe it to be a targeted incident.
The investigation is still active.
