A crash between a school bus and a pickup truck has shut down lanes of Lee Boulevard in Lehigh Acres Tuesday afternoon around 2:30 p.m.
The pickup truck rolled over in the crash at the intersection of Lee Boulevard and Edwinstone Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The School District of Lee County confirmed there were 10 to 12 students on the school bus during the crash, and no one on the bus was injured. The students on the bus attend Dunbar High School, and they will either finish their route on the bus if law enforcement releases it, be picked up by another bus to finish the route or be released to their parents.
In an update, the District said one student was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Eastbound lanes of Lee Boulevard are shutdown while troopers investigate the crash.
