Two Lehigh Acres men were arrested by Lee County Sheriff Department during an operation to catch reckless and irresponsible ATV riders over the weekend.
Jorge Carrilo was spotted weaving in and out of traffic and ignoring stop signs on Sunshine Boulevard and 38th Street SW.
He even tried ditching his four-wheeler to try and escape deputies but didn’t get far after losing a shoe, according to the arrest report.

Jairo Blandon was caught flying through stop signs along Meadow Road near 40th Street SW. Blandon kept brake checking them then ran off. They caught him hiding behind a house.
Both Carrilo and Blandon are facing the following:
NONMOVING TRAFFIC VIOL (FAIL TO REGISTER MOTOR VEH)
MOVING TRAFFIC VIOL (RECKLESS DRIVING 1ST OFF)
FLEE/ELUDE POLICE (FAIL TO OBEY LEO ORDER TO STOP)
However they have both since bonded out of jail.
