Deputy’s target reckless ATV & dirt bike drivers

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office made two arrests Tuesday in an effort to curb reckless dirt bike and ATV driving in the area.

28-year-old Edwin Perez and 23-year-old Joshua Perez both of Lehigh Acres were arrested Monday after trying to speed away from deputies on Sunshine Boulevard, according to LCSO.

Deputies along with aviation units worked together to stop the two and eventually took them both into custody.

The men are facing charges of fleeing and eluding, criminal trespassing and several traffic-related charges, deputies said.
