Fires at – 7753 3rd Pl – near Hendry Co line – 68th St W / Joan Ave N – Unice Ave N /7th St W
Forestry dumping water on a 10-12 acre brush fire off Wheeler Road (Sunday afternoon). Approximately 12 homes were protected during the fire attack. While crews battled this fire, 2 additional fires ignited in the District. With assistance from surrounding departments, both were extinguished with no injuries or damage to property. Other fire locations: Joan Ave N and 67th St W (2 acres) Unice St / 7th (1/4 acres)
