A 29-year-old Lehigh Acres man died on Wednesday night after a hit-and-run crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 7:50 p.m. near on Joel Boulevard, near the intersections of East 19th Street, according to an FHP report.
The man, was traveling north on Joel Boulevard on a motorcycle, when an unknown vehicle, that appeared to be a sedan, struck the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital where he died.
The vehicle fled the scene.
