Editorial …….
We know that Lee Health and NCH have been upfront and transparent when comes to the COVID-19 issue and patient information that they can legally give out to the media.

But when we called Lehigh Regional Medical Center and asked a few questions and the only answer they would give us is “We are fine”.
This is NOT an answer, this is NOT being transparent.
Lehigh Acres currently has 37 cases and raising of COVID-19.
Questions:
Did any of those 37 cases been treated at Lehigh Regional Medical Center?
Since Lehigh Regional Medical Center has an ICU has there been any patient with COVID-19 in that ICU?
Have you treated any one with COVID-19 in the ER?
Lehigh Regional Medical Center is listed as an 88-bed acute care hospital serving Lehigh Acres and the surrounding areas.
This is our hospital but they refuse to be transparent, why?
The mission statement of the hospital is “To deliver compassionate, quality care to patients and better healthcare to communities.”
From the hospital’s website: At Lehigh Regional, our goal is to exceed your expectations by providing superior service, heartfelt compassion and an unwavering commitment to your safety and wellbeing. In order to ensure that we follow through on our promises to you, we rely on the following three principles in doing this: we are servant leaders, we do the right things and we never settle.”

Mr. Gary Bell the CEO of the hospital needs to wake up now and start being transparent when it comes to COVID-19. What is a servant leader, Mr. Bell?
Servant leader inverts the norm, which puts the customer service associates as a main priority. Instead of the people working to serve the leader, the leader exists to serve the people.
Mr. Bell please by a servant leader and put the community that you serve first!
