Subject: Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District- Social Media Guidelines

Dear Mr. Scott,

The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District (“District”) has a District social media platform policy which is designated as Standard Operating Guideline 100.09.00 (“Social Media Guidelines”).  A copy of the Social Media Guidelines is located on the District’s website.  The District’s Social Media Guidelines contains guidelines related to the use of the District’s social media platforms and includes guidelines related to the content that can be placed on the District’s social media platforms.

On multiple occasions in the past, you have placed content on the District’s social media platforms in violation of the District’s Social Media Guidelines.  Initially, the District removed content you placed on the District’s social media platforms that was in violation of the District’s Social Media Guidelines.  Recently, because of additional violations of the District’s Social Media Guidelines by you, the District progressed to taking the corrective action of blocking you from the placement of new content on the District’s social media platforms.

In the hope that you now understand that you must use the District’s social media platforms in compliance with the District’s Social Media Guidelines, the District is unblocking your use of the District’s social media platforms so that you can place content on the District’s social media platforms in a manner that complies with the District’s Social Media Guidelines.

It is necessary for you to use the District’s social media platforms in the future in compliance with the District’s Social Media Guidelines so that the District will not be placed by you in the position of taking additional corrective action.

Sincerely,

Richard W. Pringle
