Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 5, Dr. Riadh Atmani thanked everyone for coming and welcomed attendees and the opportunity to both meet the hospital team and tour the new facility.
“We are excited and looking forward to providing veterinary services to the community. This has been a year in the making,” Atmani said.

Atmani has worked as a veterinarian in private practice and ER, serving Southwest Florida for more than 20 years. He was previously the Medical Director at VCA Animal Hospital in Orlando.
The opening marks a totally new beginning for the once occupied animal clinic site.
“It’s a fresh start. The entire clinic has been gutted. We have a specialized parvo virus care unit, an intensive care unit, full-fledged radiology, oxygen machine, boarding, expanded rooms and a lab,” said Amy Pacheco, veterinary technician and office manager.
Pacheco led owners and their pets throughout the various rooms and talked about some of the center’s specialized services including to parvo care unit, where infected pets are treated and kept separated from other animals.
According to Dr. Atmani, and his staff, they are very excited to see where this journey takes them.
“Lehigh needs a place that’s not only affordable, but offers specialty surgeries without having go to an ER. Our goal for the future is to possibly open up as a 24-hour clinic,” Pacheco said.
According to Pacheco, they are getting great response already and people are leaving voicemail messages to book their first appointments.
“We want to make sure that no one’s pet is left untreated. So, we will be providing people with payment options including Care Credit and Scratch Pay, which gives them more flexibility to make sure their pets get the care they need. We will also offer a special discount for our first responders,” Pacheco said.
