An internal source will not confirm or deny that the FDLE is investigating the Lehigh Acres Fire Commissioners. When pressed on certain topics they refuse to confirm or deny. But it’s perfectly clear something is going on.

Nepotism in the Lehigh Acres Fire Department — Commissioner Kruse has her son working there. Commissioner Sherman’s Husband is a newly promoted engineer in the Lehigh Acres Fire Department.
Or is it the recent 3-2 vote to reopen a Firefighter union contract? Or possible commissioner bribes and kickbacks ….. some time ago Commissioner Kruse talked about possible bribes that Commissioners may have taken? FS 838.015 bribery or FS 838.016 Unlawful compensation or reward for official behavior or FS 839.26 Misuse of confidential information.
Also, their builder Wright Construction Group gave $10,000.00 dollars to a Political Action Committee to convince the voters in Lehigh Acres to vote YES to the Special Election in June. Could there be Election and Ethics violations filed also?
So, what could it REALLY be????
