During the August 19th special meeting LAMSID, the board approved the increase in non-ad valorem assessments and adopted the assessment roll. The new adopted assessment rate is $130.15/acre. That is an increase of $10.00/acre per year. The effects of the assessment increase were broken down by parcel size: 70.40% of parcels will see a $0.00-$3.00 increase, 26.25% of parcels will see a $3.10-$6.00 increase, 1.83% of parcels will see a $6.10-$12.00 increase, and 1.52% of parcels will see a $12.10+ increase.
