This is the response back from the Lee County Tax Collector office by Christopher L. Bright Communications Manager on 6/20/2019 at 2:42 pm via email.
“In regards to your observations at our Lehigh Acres Service Center, our office emailed you indicating that all inquiries related to Lee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies should be directed to that agency.
The Lee County Tax Collector does not permit personal use of social media during work time. Any Lee County Tax Collector employee that has access to social media during work time must use account(s) for business related activity.
Since January 2018, the Lee County Tax Collector identified a need for law enforcement presence in service centers. Lee County Sheriff’s Office has a standard Agreement for Extra Duty Detail Services available for public inspection. Please coordinate with Lee County Sheriff’s Office directly to schedule a time to inspect their document.”
Why is the Lee County Tax Collector office trying to pass the buck to the Sheriff’s office?
