According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Two people were taken to the Lee Memorial hospital as trauma alerts in a crash Monday morning at the intersection of Richmond Avenue Northeast and Seventh Avenue.
The two-vehicle wreck happened around 9:30 a.m. and the intersection is shut down, according to the LCSO.
According to LCEC crews are making repairs on a concrete utility pole one of the vehicles broke when crashing into it.
