SalusCare announced today that its doctors will not write prescriptions for medical marijuana, despite the new Florida law that is effective today allowing the use of medical marijuana for people with debilitating medical conditions.
“While we respect the wishes of the voters of Florida who passed Amendment 2, SalusCare has made a decision as a provider of behavioral healthcare not to prescribe medical marijuana for its patients,” said Dr. Adrienne Eisner, Medical Director.
