Gulf Coast Writers Association 2017 Writing Contest will shortly be closed for submissions. We have extended accepting entries until December 15th! Categories this year are Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry. Children’s lit should be submitted to the Fiction category. All submissions need to be typed, double-spaced, etc (as directions now read) and either mailed or emailed.
If sending in the mail, the entry must be in a 10 X 12 envelope labeled by category, Addressed to GCWA 2017 writing contest, and have a check or money order for the fees. PO Box 60771 Fort Myers Fl 33906
If sending via email, they can be emailed to Events@GulfWriters.org. Emailed submissions need to be in PDF format so software incompatibilities will not interfere with formatting. The winners will be introduced at the Alliance for the Arts, Saturday, February 25, 2017. 10 – noon. Light refreshments, music.
