The County Canvassing Board announced on Wednesday, November 16, that the Lee County Supervisor of Elections has completed the machine recount for the Lehigh Acres Fire District, Seat 1. At the conclusion of the 3 day machine recount, the recount did not affect the outcome of the contest in the District. Cathy Kruse remains the winner.
Results of the machine recount will be posted athttp://www.lee.vote/elections/elec161108/.
The County Canvassing Board will certify the November 8, 2016 General Election on Friday, November 18. The results of the machine recount for Lehigh Acres Fire District, Seat 1 will be reflected in official election results for the District.
