Slide the City has a new date – and its three months away.
Spencer Hunn met with Fort Myers city leaders on Wednesday in an effort to get approval from the state to use the Edison Bridge.
Hunn, from Slide the City, said the state and city have agreed the event can be held Saturday, December 17th – but permits still have to be approved.
Hunn also said it was a mistake to try and move the event to Lehigh Acres, and they are addressing past problems.
Hunn said he’s in the process of emailing customers about the new date.
He said anyone who wants a refund now can go to their website and request one, but it could take up to 14 days.
