Lehigh Acres man has been accused in death of Alberta Harris, 50, whose body was discovered in Hendry County in April, days after she was reported missing.
Eugene Johnson, 61, of 198 E. Joel Blvd Lehigh Acres, according Hendry County Sheriff’s Office Johnson was charged Tuesday with one count of homicide, second-degree murder not premeditated during other felony and one count of possession of weapon or ammo by convicted Florida felon, according to records from the Hendry County Jail.
As of today, he remains in custody on $530,000 bond.
Officials reported that Harris death was determined to be a homicide.
On Tuesday the FDLE and FMPD detained Johnson in connection to her death.
