Dear Commissioners:
We were made aware that several of you wanted additional information about the communities and the residents in order to consider the reinstatement of the community exemptions. Since we never received a formal request for additional information, we compiled the statistics on the attached spreadsheet. We hope you find this helpful and that it clears up all of your questions. If you would like additional information, we will be happy to supply it prior to the meeting.
In preparation for the meeting on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, we have several questions and don’t know the appropriate person to direct them to. Would you please forward my inquiry to the appropriate person(s)?
We anticipate over one hundred of our residents to attend the meeting. How many of them will be permitted to speak?
How long will they have to speak?
All of the residents attending will need a seat.
Many of the residents will need a Spanish translator.
Several will need space and access for their wheelchair or electric scooter.
If you have questions, please let me know in a timely manner so I may respond in kind.

Dear Commissioners:
PLEASE respond to my emails or forward them to someone that will respond.
I have many residents that want to speak to you in person. They are seniors and cannot stand for any extended period of time.
Please have someone tell me how many residents may speak and how long they have to do so. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Currently the meeting room that the Fire Commissioner’s use ONLY HOLDS 49 PEOPLE MAX. And the fire commissioner’s refuse to call or email Ms. Peterson. Why?
If they would have just called her they would have found out that Ms. Peterson would have offer them the use of the HUGE meeting room at Presbyterian Homes that could have handle the Fire Meeting with no issues. But the Lehigh Acres Gazette has learned that Fire Commission will hold their meeting at the location at Station #4 off Sunshine Blvd.
According to Chairman Cathy Kruse, she forwarded the emails to Richard Pringle their attorney which has advised her not to move the meeting, because they did have time to give proper notice.
Commissioner Matt Smith advised the Lehigh Acres Gazette that Lee County Sheriff officers will be on duty at the meeting to only allow so many in the meeting room at a time and to keep the peace.
According to Ms. Peterson, Presbyterian Homes is being 140 Lehigh Acres residents and voters to this meeting on the 26, 2016 maybe it’s time for everyone Lehigh Acres to show and talk about this fire assessment.
I guess the Fire Commission wants residents to stay away. They seem to be acting like another political Lehigh group (Lehigh Community Council); oh, look, many of the members are the same people!
Time to clean house, start at the top!
Mary I agree whole heartily
Same criminal behavior as the so-called Community Council
