The northbound lanes of Lee Boulevard in Lehigh Acres have reopened after a crash occurred Monday evening just after 6 p.m.
It happened at the intersection of 8th Avenue and Lee Boulevard.
A witness on scene said that a mother was fueling her car on the side of the road with her three children inside the vehicle when a pest control truck crashed into the back of the mom’s car.
He says that bystanders grabbed the children out of the car, who are unharmed.
The mom was life-flighted out with critical injuries.
Lee Boulevard is expected to be shut down until an investigation is complete.
