Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium is pleased to announce the return of Laser Light Shows for a limited engagement, May 18-28, 2016.
According to Planetarium Director, Heather Preston, “So many shows, so little time. If this ten days of lasers works out, we will bring it back sometime this summer, so now’s the time to show you care!”

Wednesday, May 18th, 7:00 pm & 8 pm – Laser “Week” Begins (Sneak Preview)
AT LONG LAST!!! Get your laser fix! Our first two shows will be 7 pm: Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon and 8 pm: Pink Floyd: The Wall.
Thursday, May 19th, 7:00 pm – Kids Sky-Mythology Laser Shows
Family-friendly laser night! Come see the two shorter laser shows, Perseus and Andromeda and The Story of Orion in laser surround in a single go!
Friday, May 20th, 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00pm – Laser Shows
LaserPop at 8. Hypnotica (techno/rave) at 9. Then… ElectroLaze! Skrillex and other EDM artists (plus Trance, dubstep, Dutch house) in a cutting-edge show at 10 pm.
Saturday, May 21st, 10 pm, 11 pm and 12 midnight – LASER SHOWS
Melt your face off or chill to the beats… At 10: LaserRetro (80s), at 11: LaserX (90s) and at Midnight: ElectroLaze (EDM/Dubstep/Dutch house)
Wednesday, May 25th, 8 pm, 9 pm – Laser Shows
Get the “Led” out! It’s 8 pm: Laser Zeppelin (been a long time…!) followed by 9 pm: Laser U2
Thursday, May 26th, 8 pm, 9 pm – Laser Shows
It’s midweek date night! 8 pm: Laser Spirit (Country greats from all eras) followed by 9 pm: Laser Magic (with everything from Joan Jett to Shania Twain). Come see these with that special someone!
Friday, May 27th 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm – Laser Shows
Love is all you need – plus admission! 8 pm: Laser Beatles (you know you have to!) followed by 9 pm: Laser Vinyl (ELP, AC/DC, Van Halen, pure laser bliss!) and 10 pm: LaserPop (Get this party started, because Kryptonite is my Digital Get-down)
Saturday, May 28th 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, 11 pm, 12 Midnight – Laser Farewell Shows
If you want ‘em back, show ‘em some love as they leave the stage! We will be taking votes at all of our laser shows in the week before this final night, so be sure to come vote, because we will change this lineup (ESP THE FINAL SHOW) to reflect the most popular shows! 8 pm: Metallica (go ahead, get happy and melt your face off with this laser spectacular), then 9 pm: Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon, then 10 pm: ElectroLaze (EDM / Dubstep/ Dutch house), 11 pm: Laseropolis (REM, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Prodigy, B52s) and midnight: To Be Determined by popular demand.
