Spray Painting Suspect Sought In School Vandalism

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help tracking down one or more suspects who took their art skills to an illegal level, and damaged property at Lehigh Senior High School.

When custodial crews arrived at the school, located at 901 Gunnery Road, around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5th, they discovered that between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m., one or more persons trespassed onto school property and spray painted the concrete within the courtyard area.  A review of surveillance video shows that the concrete was free of graffiti prior to midnight, when the lights were turned off.  The cost to remove the spray paint is unknown at this time, as crews were still actively cleaning the area Tuesday evening.

Anyone with information on the person or persons responsible for the vandalism is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
