The Lions Club has turned 50 years young in the community of Lehigh Acres.
Our local Lions Club pays for the school nurses in Leigh Acres their Florida Association of School Nurses (FASN) dues. By paying the dues the school nurse to have access to a program through VSP for free eye care and glasses for qualified students. Over the past year alone these five nurses the that our Lions Club support have helped over 300 kids. And in the past six years since the they started the sponsorship the nurses and Lions Club have reach out to over 2500 kids in the Lehigh Acres area with free eye exams and glasses.
