Lee County deputies are investigating a submerged vehicle discovered inside the Able Canal Friday morning.
Dive crews are in the water checking if there are any occupants inside the vehicle. The area around the canal, near North Avenue, has been roped off while deputies investigate.
At this point, deputies only know it could have gone in the water anytime within the last 24 to 48 hours.
