General Woman’s Club of Lehigh Acres, Inc. will meet on Friday, March 18, at 1:00pm at the Faith Lutheran Church, Sweatlock Room, 705 Leeland Heights Blvd. E, Lehigh Acres, FL. The Club meets every 3rd Friday of the month, from September to May, to enjoy each other’s company and help raise funds to support the Lehigh Community and award scholarships to single parents in Lehigh Acres, with young children living at home.
In March, our guest speaker will be Ms. Lisa Goehle, who will speak to us about Human Trafficking in our area, recognizing the signs of a human trafficking victim and what we can all do to help. All are welcomed to attend and learn how you can help.
Above are pictures of the Club’s February annual Picnic at the Franklin Lock Recreation Park, in Alva. All had a great time. The weather was a little cool but a nice change, there was plenty to eat, many fun and competitive games and wonderful prizes won by all, courtesy of the Club’s President, Ms. Aura Wilson.
