Enjoy the music of Broadway performed by the Lehigh Concert Band.
Hear favorite melodies of Hey Look Me Over from Wildcat and Edelweiss from the Sound of Music. Kathy Lamade will sing the beautiful melody Somewhere over the Rainbow from The Wizard of OZ. There will also be a selection of songs from the Broadway hit Lion King including Circle of Life, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Hakuna Matata, and more. The program will also include the Sousa march the Thunderer, and the ever popular Radetsky march. For the kid in all of us you will hear the Looney Tunes Overture and the Wonderful World of Disney which is sure to bring a smile to your heart with such tunes as Mickey Mouse march, it’s a Small World, and more. A little Blues and a little Beatles will round out the performance which is a not to be missed concert of Lehigh’s only community concert band.
All concerts are free with donations accepted, and the 30 member community band of retired professional and amateur musicians is always looking for good musicians who want to perform.
