A driver and his passenger were able to escape serious injuries after BMW burst into flames during a wreck Thursday afternoon.
The crash unfolded when the BMW slid off the roadway on Bay Rock Circle and slammed into a pine tree, according to a person on scene.
Both occupants refused treatment from Lehigh Acres Fire Dept paramedics. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating the crash scene.
