Three people were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a serious head-on crash in Lehigh Acres.
It happened just west of the intersection of Joel Boulevard and Country Club Parkway between an Escalade and a PT Cruiser.
Lehigh Acres Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to remove the driver of the maroon Escalade who was then transported to Lee Memorial Hospital along with his passenger.
The driver of the silver PT Cruiser suffered serious injuries and was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital as a trauma alert.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating scene.
