The National Junior Honor Society at Lehigh Acres Middle School is actively involved in the Lee County Adopt-A-Road Program. Recently NJHS members at the school spent a Saturday Morning cleaning up trash and debris along a stretch of Homestead Road. Many on-lookers honked their horns as they passed by in recognition with some offering water to the students. The event was coordinated by Ms. Elizabeth Salmon, Reading Teacher and sponsor of the schools National Junior Honor Society. Good things are happening at Lehigh Acres Middle School.
