The people of this country are up to their necks with government.
Does it make any sense to duplicate services already provided by Lee County?
GOVERNMENT COSTS, is Lehigh Acres ready for more expense.
DO WE REALLY NEED MORE GOVERNMENT?
Having a voice in my Community is invaluable to me. The Board of Lee County Commissioners are too far away from local and neighborhood issues and can’t possibly be narrowly focused on Lehigh Acres. I want a say in what happens in my Community at a LOCAL level. In my opinion I’m not getting my fair share. I’ve been trying for 6 months to have the intersection of Village Lakes Blvd and Williams Road cleaned up. The Tenants of Heron Pond are being treated like second class citizens and it looks like a pig sty. I wouldn’t even turn the corner! I’ve contacted the County at various levels up to and including the BOCC and nothing has been done. Every Community has a concrete monument bearing the name of the complex and ours is buried behind 7 feet of grass. SOMEBODY owns this property because it’s taxed. It’s also a private Road. It’s hazardous for vehicles and pedestrians alike. It would be great to meet with City Officials and have this situation rectified. Worse yet is the response time from first responders. It’s like they don’t care if we burn or die.
Yes, We can have better roads and our own police force along with more resources to bring more opportunity to the community, Better education,
