Business owners at a shopping center in Lehigh Acres are worried after the fire department has been called there three times.
The building is almost 50 years old, an age that is concerning to its tenants.
Lehigh Acres Fire responded Sunday morning to the Papa John’s on Lee Boulevard.
On Saturday afternoon, they responded to a nearby bakery, and two weeks ago, it was a call from a barbershop.
Business owners said they never see flames, but always smell smoke that seems to be coming from an outside overhang.
