Drinking is not illegal if you are over the age of 21in the State, but drinking and driving is illegal in the State of Florida. Saturday August 8, Larry Becker, Chairman of the Lehigh Acres Fire Board was drinking at his favorite water hole and drove his golf cart home on a County Road.
Even if he wasn’t intoxicated driving a golf cart that’s not equipped, not tagged, or not insured properly on the county road is illegal.
Sources say that Becker has been doing this for years, so is he just stupid, or just ignorant of the laws of the land.

Do we need this type of person on the Fire Board? Remember this is the same person that voted to raise your taxes in Lehigh Acres.
