Archie House Apprehended
for 7-Eleven Robberies

Archie House

The final suspect in last Friday morning’s armed robberies at three Lee County 7-Eleven convenience stores, and yet another one early this morning, is now in police custody.

Archie House was apprehended this afternoon by members of the US Marshal’s Fugitive Warrants Task Force in Lehigh Acres.  Detectives had been following up on investigative leads and anonymous tips over the last two days and finally tracked him down just before 2 p.m. today.  In addition to the 7-Eleven robberies, House is also being charged with a robbery at Progressive Waste Solutions, located at 5584 6th Street W., in Lehigh Acres.  Around 5:50 a.m. this morning, the victim arrived at the business to pay his employees. While standing and talking with one of his employees, a black male, now believed to be House, is accused of running up and snatching a bank bag from the victim’s hands, before fleeing in a car, occupied by another unknown black male who was waiting for him.

House is currently enroute to the Lee County Jail, where he will be formally charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count of robbery by sudden snatching.  His latest booking photo will be available within the next few hours on the Lee County Sheriff’s Office’s public website.
