A group of 49 students from China are staying with families in Lehigh Acres. Thes students are ages 9-14 years old, and are from several different large cities in China. During their 2 week stay in Lehigh Acres, the students have been staying with local volunteer host families who are kind enough to open their homes to the students during their time here. We have a total of 29 host families. During the week the students have English and American culture classes that are taught by local Lee County teachers. The classes are held at New Life Assembly of God in Lehigh Acres. Many of the host families also attend New Life Assembly. The students are returning to China this coming Tuesday after they have an exciting weekend in Orlando.
