Investigators with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office swarmed a property off Staley Road in Buckingham Wednesday.
Deputies were in the 2200 block of Staley Road for at least four hours investigating a vehicle theft ring case.
According to witness they said they saw at least four trucks and a boat being towed away for the scene.
Many of the vehicles were gutted of their engines and other expensive parts.
A large crime scene truck was also at the scene. We’re told that truck was full of car parts seized from the property.
LCSO Deputies tell us the scene is part of a much larger investigation.
