During the early morning hours of Wednesday, a car crashed in a canal upside down on Sunshine Boulevard near Queen Drive.
Neighbors were concerned after seeing towing company pull out the vehicle with no one inside. What added to their concern was seeing floating toys come from the car as it was hauled out.
A neighbor who was out walking their dog about 6:30 a.m., spotted the activity and took pictures for the Lehigh Acres Gazette.
According to Felicia Ronquillo, “I kind of got a little queezy in the stomach thinking maybe someone was in there.”
The Lehigh Acres Gazette was told by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the car was not stolen and they are not looking for anyone, however their report will not be available until tomorrow. It is simply a car crash?
So who crashed the car?
