The Advanced Chorus at Lehigh Acres Middle School will be performing at the Music Performance Assessment at North Port High School on Friday, March 6th. These students will be singing several songs on stage and sight read music for a panel of judges. The scores will be compiled for a final rating of “Superior”Excellent,” “Good,” “Fair.” or “poor.” This is the first time LAMS has taken a choir to this event which can be compared to the “FCAT for Music.”The Advanced Band will also have their Music Performance Assessment at Island Coast High School on Saturday, May 14th with a similar format to the Chorus MPA.
