Riverdale High School (RHS) performed well at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) District Leadership Conference, held last week in LaBelle. 55 RHS students participated in the competition, which brought together FBLA chapters from the fivecounty area. Advisors Ileane Flores and Ryan White (former FBLA president/RHS graduate) coached the Riverdale team. Riverdale stole the show, finishing with 28 first place wins, nine second place wins and 12 third place wins. Riverdale also won the coveted “Chapter of the Year” and “Largest Chapter” awards for the eighth year. Riverdale’s FBLA chapter has 85 members.
