Here we go again. Commissioners were supposed to applied for the grant already. Just because there has been a passing vote on the “special fire assessment fee” is no reason to get complacent and depend on tax payers fees due later. If we get the grant it can keep people employed etc. and use our reserves for more constructive purposes.
Seems like the Commissioners are not doing what is in the best interest of those who put them in office.
Wow!! They lied about the assesment preventing layoffs. Lets stop wasting money. We can save thousands by reconditioning ambulances with engines and transmissions instead of buying brand new.
