Florida has two new millionaires and nearly half a million other winners from last night’s POWERBALL® draw! Two lucky players are holding a ticket worth $1 million. In addition, 485,439 Florida players won between $4 and $30,000. The winning numbers from Wednesday night’s POWERBALL draw were 11-13-25-39-54, and the Powerball was 19.
“We are thrilled to have so many winners here in Florida,” said Florida Lottery Secretary Cynthia O’Connell. “What makes this even more exciting for the Sunshine State is that this series of POWERBALL jackpot rollovers generated more than $47 Million for education – now that’s what I call a win-win.”
One of the $1 million winning tickets was a Quick Pick and was sold at Pelican Disc Beverage & Groceries, located at 190 Oxford Road in Fern Park. The other $1 million winning ticket was sold at Publix located at 10201 Hammocks Boulevard in Miami. These retailers will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the $1 million tickets.
The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Saturday, February 14, at 10:59 p.m. ET with a $40 million jackpot. National POWERBALL drawings are broadcast live, in high-definition, from the Florida Lottery’s state of the art draw studio in Tallahassee. Florida Lottery game drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Drawings are also available for viewing on the Florida Lottery website. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.
