LeeTran will make several improvements to its bus service starting January 22, including the addition of Sunday service to Lehigh Acres and in Cape Coral.
The enhancements will be funded with revenue raised by the system’s January 1 fare increase.
Lehigh Acres’ Route 110 and Cape Coral’s Route 70 will begin Sunday service. Route 70, which travels from downtown Cape Coral to downtown Fort Myers, will run hourly from 6:40 a.m. until 8:11 p.m. Route 110, which connects the Edison Mall in Fort Myers with Homestead Plaza in Lehigh Acres, will run hourly from 6:10 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Route 110 will also increase its frequency on Saturdays, running every hour instead of every two hours.
Other improvements starting on that date include:
· Route 40 (Cape Coral) will run later on Monday through Friday, until 8:15 p.m.
· Route 100 (service on Palm Beach Blvd.) will have earlier service from Rosa Parks, seven days a week
· Route 50 will start its seasonal service, adding frequency Monday through Saturday
· Route 150 will also start its seasonal service, which operates between Lovers Key State Park and the Center of Bonita Springs until 9:40 p.m., seven days a week
· The Fort Myers Beach trolley will start seasonal service, splitting into two routes: Route 490 travels between Summerlin Square and Bowditch Park, and Route 410 travels from Bowditch Park to Lovers Key. Both routes run more frequently than during the off-peak season

Awesome Sunday service on the 110…and every hour to boot!
