Lehigh Acres Fire Control & Rescue District employees responded to a rollover crash just before 12 pm on Sunday December 28, 2014. The crash site was in fact only feet from Lehigh Acres Fire Control & Rescue District Fire Station 101, at 1000 Joel Blvd, in Lehigh Acres.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, the Ford Escort driver lost control and rolling over and striking Fire Stations 101’s retaining wall. One adult assumed to be the driver and one child were transported to a local hospital. No word as of yet on the nature of any injuries.
Lehigh Acres Fire Control & Rescue District Fire Station 101 was occupied at the time of the crash; no one inside the Station reported any injuries. And only minor damage to Lehigh Acres Fire Control & Rescue District Fire Station 101 has been stated at this time.
