The Gulf Coast Music School students have been invited to perform with the Silver Strings Chamber Orchestra from Slovakia on Sunday, December, 14, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 13411 Shire Lane, Fort Myers, FL 33912. The concert is free and open to the public. Lehigh Acres artist Olga Wood, originally from Slovakia, will be showcasing her artwork in the social area outside the sanctuary as well.
The Gulf Coast Music School was formed in 1988 in Fort Myers and offers Suzuki and traditional music lessons in violin, viola, cello and piano. Gulf Coast Music School director Chris Hoffman, and artist Olga Wood are members of the Arts of the Inland a 501(c)3 public charity nonprofit umbrella arts organization for the visual, literary and performing artists of the inland communities of South Florida.
