Lehigh Senior High School has dismissed football coach Nate Sund from his duties and now will conduct a national search to replace him.
According to Lehigh principal Jackie Corey, Sund is a good coach, and he did wonderful things for our kids, we just need step up the program in a different direction,
Corey said she wanted to hire someone from outside of Lehigh and she hoped to hire Sund’s successor within three to four weeks.
Sund, who will remain at Lehigh as a teacher, could not be reached for comment.
“I just feel at this point, I really want to take the program in a different direction and find someone with the experience to take the program to the next level”, said Corey.
