Aliyah Rose Pierre, 16, of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on Dec. 20, 2014. She was born in Naples, FL on May 25, 1998 to parents, Shane Pierre and Tonya Stubbs. Aliyah attended East Lee Co. High School and was a very active young lady. She was a spectacular basketball player #20 and truly loved volleyball, cross country, golf, painting, art, music, dancing, make-up and fashion. She will be extremely missed by all of her family and friends. She leaves behind to celebrate her memory: mother, Tonya (Johnnie) Stubbs of Lehigh Acres, FL and father, Shane (Katey) Pierre of Aransas Pass, TX; sisters: Shakira Minor, Alora Pierre, Onisha Stubbs and Brittany Stubbs; brothers: Shane J. Pierre, Evander “Anthony” Barr, Leland Pierre, and Anthony A.J. Stubbs; grandmothers: Patricia McDaris; Anastasia Pierre and Lois Stubbs; grandfather, Phillip Pierre and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her granfather Ivory Minor of Naples, FL. Visitation for family and friends will be held on from 11-1pm on Sat., Jan. 3, 2014 at the St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church, 2182 Mitchell Court, Fort Myers, FL 33916. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm with a Home Going Reception immediately following in the church dining hall.
