What is a Little Free Library? It’s a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories. In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share.
Lehigh Acres Girl Scout Troop 746 built this Little Free Library as a community project. Click here to see ribbon cutting. The Little Library is located at the Healthy Harvest Community Farms at 604 Mirror Lakes Dr. Little Free Library has been register with the national Little Free Library at http://littlefreelibrary.org .The Girl Scouts are looking into building a second Little Free Library and working with Lehigh Acres Kiwanis leadership to find a location for that one.
