Hundreds came out in Lehigh Acres this Saturday to support small businesses at The 1st Community Congregational Church on Leeland Heights Blvd.
And it’s the “small” shopping experience that has more and more people choosing to shop local
“It feels more personal than your big box, mall experience,” shopper said.
“That’s kind of the backbone of our country are small businesses,” shopper Sara said.
According to the Small Businesses Administration, spending 100 bucks at a small business puts about $68 back into the local economy.
