Santos Leon, Jr age 26, of Lehigh Acres, Florida was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff Office on charges of Lewd and Lascivious Behavior – Victim 12 YOA to 16 YOA, Offender 18 YOA or Older and Sexual Assault by Custodian – Victim Over 12 and Under 18.
Lee County deputies received information about a possible sex crime involving a juvenile on Friday. Due to the nature of the incident, Major Crimes Special Victims Unit detectives responded and conducted the investigation.
LCSO-MCSVU Investigators say a witness saw inappropriate contact between the suspect and a 13-year-old girl. The witness told the girl’s caretaker about the incident. That’s when the caretaker took the teen to a local hospital. The health statue of the 13 year old victim is unknown at this time.
