Local Fire Department To Be Audited By The State

Representative Matthew H. “Matt” Caldwell

In a recent interview with Representative Matt Cladwell, Lehigh Acres.  Cladwell said a Lehigh Acres constituent has asked the state to do a thorough audit of all aspects of the Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue District. He said it could not happen before the election on Nov 4th but assures it happen after the first of the year.

We really need to know what has transpired in this fire district over the years, said Caldwell

  1. over paid, under worked, abusing equipment on purpose, and using equipment not for it’s intended purpose(like taking a million dollar ladder truck to a medical call) Entitlements, wasting taxpayers money sitting around doing nothing. Do they even mow and take care of the fire stations landscaping??? I hear they have time to do paintings in stations, and have time to sit at mugs and jugs for over 2 hours….

anyone that’s for the assessment is obviously for higher taxes and needs to have their head examined. TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY, thank you very much.
