Sunday, October 12, 2014 was the first anniversary of the Free Veterans Dinner held every three months hosted by the American Legion Post #323 of Lehigh Acres. It started from a vision to serve those who served us and a monetary donation from the legionnaires. The meal consists of spaghetti with meatballs, a large salad bar and desserts. The greatly appreciated donations have perpetuated the rest of the dinners and will continue in January 2015.
